Assignment 1

To import a sound track from a CD you must insert the CD into the PC (computer) and go to <My Computer> and open the folder that will be name as <Audio CD (D:)>, and click twice so it will open a folder containing the tracks of the CD. To be able to manipulate the tracks inside it is recommended to <save it as> in a new created folder or in any folder wished.

My Case: I inserted on the PC tower "Bob Dylan - Greatest Hits" and made a folder on my desktop to save track 4 - Mr. Tambourine Man. Since it is already in a format which is available for the majority of programs you want to upload the music to, such as to Dropbox, it isn't necessary to change its format.


Assignment 2

My Case: The mp3 Converter, which I used converts directly WAV files into mp3 format to reduce the file's size, therefore it saves disk space and you can play it on any mp3 player. 


Assignment 3

My Case: I used iTunes. Therefore, I go to <File> and then, <Create new reproduction list>, and name it as wished. Then add the tracks uploaded and saved in <Music> and paste them to the list you created.


Assignment 4

My Case: using Windows XP
First Step: go into the Start menu.


Second Step: go to <All Programs> and then go to <Accesories>.


Third Step: Select <Entertainment> and choose <Sound Recorder>.


Fourth Step: click on the round to start your recording, and to stop, press the black square button.


Fifth Step: to save the file, click <save as>, and you can then apply or edit effects.


Assignment 5

First  Step:Before you enter a post on Blogger.com, you need to make sure your podcast mp3 file is already on your server. Save it onto your server and get the URL, because you need that URL to link it to your blog post.

Second Step: From the Dashboard page, click "New Post" and type in your title.

Third Step:Now there are two ways you can do this. You can write up an entry and provide a link within the entry. To do this, create a text link with the link tool, and type in the URL of your mp3 file. Or, you can just create a post that only consists of the link. Go to Settings/Formatting page and set "Show Link Field" to "Yes." Then, underneath the Title: box, there should be a Link: box where you can type in your URL.Fourth Step:Before you finish, go back up to Settings/Basic to add a description of your site and your podcast.

Fifth Step: Publish your post.


Assignment 6

My Case: I downloaded a program called Free Sound Studio 8.0, which allows me to download with no inconvenient, any sound effect.


Assigment 7

My Case:

First Step: Record your critique podscat, as on Assignment 4.

Second Step:Go to an audio editing program, such as Audacity and paste the song you want to critique and also paste your voice.
